I topped up 50$ to switch from the 40$ to 50$ 8.5GB plan but the amount is still on my account and I have a message asking me to reactivate the current plan. Plan was supposed to change today (11th November).

@blivori Yes all good advice...as long as your service is working you have the required $ amount in your balance just go to bed. Wake up in the morning check that you have service...reboot your phone if maybe something doesn't seem right but if you have all your services you are good to go.

The picture said that the plan expired on November 11th. The way that it would have said November 10th a couple of hours ago, and then the date changes to November 11th is confusing. The date that the self serve site shows changes at midnight.
Further, under that, there is another inconsisentency on Public Mobile's part. If you're looking at your own account during renewal, it will still say to top up by 11:59pm on that date even though the date that they are really referring to has already past. Many know by now to ignore the expired and suspended messages but that part about paying by 11:59pm on the specified date could make someone to mistakenly believe that any manual payment can wait another day.

There was an image that was removed showing the referral code but also showed that the account was suspended which means after midnight ET.

Check back in the monring. Plans do not renew right at midnight. They often do it at times such as 5am. Also, the plan will not change until the funds have been taken from your account balance. At that time, all of those error messges will also disappear. Those expired and suspended messages are a mistake and it shows that to everyone on the night of rewewal. Ignore those messages if your servcie still works.

Let it do its thing overnight. If services continue working throughout then by about noon ET tomorrow you should be all set.
(assuming of course you properly set up the plan change)
