Hey @mikefradette,
Sorry to hear that your sister is experiencing some difficulty with her services/device.
Our fellow community member has had the issue resolved, and I'd hope to resolve your sister's as well. Did she recently port over from Telus? Can you please send me her phone number via private message?
Thank you 🙂
Mary

Zoomer is Rogers reseller.
For texting. Try deleting your conversations and create new ones.

Thanks for following up, @Customro. This definitely sounds like the port from Zoomer did not complete successfully. I hope @Mary_M can look at this for you tomorrow morning, she should be able to escalate the porting issue.
In the meantime, you could try using the SIM card from Zoomer to see if you're able to still receive incoming calls on it in the interim. Sometimes when the port is incomplete, the original provider's account is still active. It's worth a try.

Hi @Customro, welcome to Public Mobile! I'm sorry you are experiencing issues. Zoomer? interesting, that's the first I've heard of them!.
It's not unsual that during the porting process, you may not be able to receive incoming calls, or incoming texts. Are you able to make calls out (other than to call your voicemail)? That USSD code issue is an odd one, that's normally seen when entering a specific string of numbers and # and * symbols in the phone's dialer, and isn't something most folks would even know about or use. What is the brand and model of your phone? Did you get it from Zoomer or from a retailer or online source (Amazon, etc)? Have you confirmed that it is not locked to the Zoomer network?
Also, if you haven't yet, could you try powering off your phone, removing the SIM card (and battery, if it's removable), waiting 60 seconds or more, then reinserting the SIM card (and battery, if applicable), and powering the phone back on? Does that make any difference?
