Phone number associated with my account

I can't access my account because it has my old phone number in it.  I changed my phone number roughly 1 year ago but it still trying to send me code to old phone number.  Frustrating and getting ticked off big time

Don't bother making changes to your Community profile settings.  That will not help and the information that you were provided with earlier is incorrect.  As you're been unable to get into your main Public Mobile account, you won't be able to make changes to that account from this other account login that you've created to post messages in Community.

Please log in to your original Public Mobile account and when it prompts for the 2FA code that was sent to the (incorrect phone number), use the didn't get code/resend code button and request a new code be sent to e-mail.  After you get a 2FA code, you'll be able to access your Public Mobile self serve account.  Once there, you can use the option to Manage your EverSafe login and only from there, can you update the phone number that the 2FA code is sent to.  Once again, the phone number associated with that EverSafe login cannot be updated from inside the Community/EverSafe account that you're logged into now.

The number listed in The Community account profile is unrelated to the EverSafe login.  The number in the Community profile could be set to anything and pretty much does nothing.  Changing the phone number in Community profile absolutely will not update the phone number linked to the EverSafe login.  While there is a shortcut to manage EverSafe credentials after logging into Community, please remember that the Community account login and the EverSafe login for self serve are the same thing.  The customers has already stated that the main account is inaccessible, meaning the account the member is using to post in Community isn't the same account.  The number shown for this member while logged in now is actually irrelevant.

You need to log in to your Community account, and there you’ll be able to update your phone number.

Hello @ Gonzer,

You will need to access the community account in My Settings-Personal-Account Information and verify if the phone number is correct. Then, on the same page, go to Manage Ever Safe ID, check here as well if the phone number is correct, if not, update it. Then log off, log in again, and check once more if you receive the code.
