Phone not connecting to mobile data despite active acct with 8.5 gbs data..problem just developed af

8.5gb of data....? Do you have the $60 Canada/US Roaming plan? If not you may want to look at the new plans offered on the plans page of your self serve account. Like the $40/15gb plan with unthrottled 4G LTE data (up to 100mbps). You can schedule a change plan on next renewal but once it changes you cannot return to a grandfathered (legacy) plan.

@gordo2   first, the 8.5 Gb of data you see could be cached and not the updated usage info due to some cache issue on My Account

 

Try to login My Account again using Incognito mode and confirm if you still have the data

 

If you do have the data left, check your phone settings and make sure you don't have monthly data limit enabled.  Disable it and try 

 

You can also try to change the Preferred network type or Network mode to 3G and see if it helps (if not, change it back to Automatic after0

 

if still does not work, easiest way is to test the PM sim card in another phone.  If you don't have another phone, you can try to Reset all networks (but this will also reset your saved Wifi networks and bluetooth, so, you will need to join them all after)
