I can't believe I'm even bothering posting this. Summary: Started out with a 15 day US Add-On, text, phone, data. That worked. Next, bought the 30 day Add-on and that worked until it dropped the phone out about 20 days in. spent days with CS and Tech trying to sort it out with no solution from them. Finally asked a CS agent to remove the 30 day from my account and refund. This they did and let me know it was completed. I then purchased a 15 day Add-on which worked until it dropped the phone once again with 3 days left showing on usage. Text and data still work.
So I filed another ticket over 24 hrs. ago and still have heard nothing back. What a waste of time and money. Pretty much had it with PM as clearly they have bugs in their code that they seem unable or not interested in fixing.

What do you mean "dropped the phone out"? You mean the add-on stopped working mid cycle?
Purchasing an identical roaming add-on back-to-back can be problematic, as you need to wait 24 hours between the lapsing of one and the purchase of the next (or you need CS to do it manually); but you purchased a completely different roaming add-on, so that shouldn't be your issue. Roaming add-on's have always been rock solid in my experience. This issue is especially odd because it was working and then stopped (unless "dropped the phone out" means something different?).
Can you provide a bit more context and clarification as to what went wrong?
EDIT: I see you mentioned text and data worked the whole time. What phone are you using? The US does not have a 3G network anymore, which means you need a VoLTE compatible device on Public Mobile's network to be able to make phone calls in the US.

the US Roaming add-ons have always been a bit buggy..especially when buying for the 2nd time right after first one expires. I thought it was fixed but I guess it still needs work.
You could always consider a Canada / US plan if you travel south frequently.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully, CSA are able to compensate you for the lost service.
Purchasing consecutive US roaming add ons can be tricky. In the past, customers had to wait 24 hours after the first 15 days add on, to purchase the same add on again.
Which plan are you on presently? If you go to the States often, you might want to check your self service account and see what plans are available for upgrade. There are some decently US Mexico plans offered at the present time, but you will need to check what is available to you.
