PM's craze/charm

Hey fellas, one thing which I have just started noticing lately is PM has started losing its charm which it is to have back in 2023/2024.

So, is it just me or someone else does feel this about public mobile as well?

Did it ever have charm? I liked it for value for money and convenience.

I find the website harder to navigate than it used to be, though, and I'm not thrilled about the new rewards system compared to the old one, if that's the sort of thing you mean?

That's when I joined to and it has been really nice since then! It gives you international calling so that's one of the great parts about using public mobile, so why not?

I totally get it. I am paying $35 right now for US Canada Mexico and no one can beat that price hands down!

I just posted this question just to see people's opinion because I have been using public since 2023 and I have no regrets as well. I was with Fido before and yes, you might say Wi-Fi calling is missing but most of the stuff along with 5G does make up for it!

I am a new customer as of this year so I don’t know about the past but I have been VERY happy with Public mobile! I was with Lucky mobile before and was getting much less for around the same price. This community has been great too!

PM provides great service in 3 countries at a reasonable price and if you have a modern phone and can figure a few things out for yourself it works very well.  I don’t want to pay for charm

2023/2024 is truly the prime time for Public, it has 5G (even before Koodo) and US roaming plan (one of the best among Tier 3).  The subscription was way up for around 12 months between mid 2023 and 2024. But somehow new subscription rate drops in the past 6 months.

I still think PM is good.   The Charm is still the price.  if you want to pay around $25 or $30, PM still has the most data, any they might even throw in US roaming for promotion.  

but it is true PM is a bit picky with device support, some oversea phones can no longer be used here because of the 3G reframing

but overall, i think it is still great here.

@Shubh2023 I have been with PM for about 6 years now. It was never about a craze or charm. I don't think I have seen a PM craze nor any charm that you refer to. Just decent prices for people that don't need a lot of 1 on 1 customer service over the phone.

Public Mobile is charming for me — lower cost, adequate signal, great travel covetage when required for USA or Mexico, works great with iPhone, no frills for tech savvy folk, great community support

@Shubh2023  I’m sure this will get moved to the lounge at some point, but for what it’s worth, I don’t think most people are looking for charm, allure or even a wow factor.  People come to PM (and stay) for a reasonable phone service at the best price they can get. That’s why I’m here l, and I haven’t thought twice about it afterward. I care about my phone ringing when it needs to, texts coming and going and the bottom line price. I personally feel I’m getting value, and I’m happy to say that.
