Hi All!
All of a sudden I’m not receiving texts from one person- my boyfriend!
He can receive my texts and we are able to call each other.
We both have iPhones.
When he sends me a text, it looks like it sent to me, and shows up blue on his end,
but I don’t receive anything.
The only change that I can think of is that I recently purchased an extra gigabyte of data (because I ran out during our last trip together out of town).
I purchased the data here in Toronto and we both live in the city.
He is also a Public Mobile user, and is the only person from whom I cannot receive texts.
Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks 🙂

Blue is iMessage. That runs on data of wifi. Restart your iMessage.
Green is standard text system. SMS/MMS and you both should turn that on in your settings so you don't have to use wifi or data.

First thing would be to make sure the contact is not blocked?
I've also know of iPhone users deleting then re-adding the contact in question and that solved their issue.
Last resort could be a re-start?

Hello @yassara ,
Check your settings, just to make sure:
On iPhone, if iMessage is unavailable, the message may be sent as SMS or MMS, depending on the content. Carrier messaging rates may apply. You can adjust this behavior on your iPhone at Settings > Messages > Send As SMS.
ALSO, check that you have not blocked him, by "accident"?

Restart your phone and try again.
Blue message is sent by iMessage. Make sure iMessage is enabled on your iPhone.
Check your overview page after login.
Do you see the 1GB data add-on?
If no, you used all the add-on data.
But you can still receive iMessage using WiFi!!!
