Not able to use data that is part of the plan

Hi, I have a 25$ plan with 1GB data. I also got 1GB data as holiday promo. Now it looks like the 1GB data,that was included in my plan, is missing! Please help!

Is it possible that one twin used up all of their data?

@pryabraham 

If it is missing (ie. not showing on your overview page) it usually means that you ran out of data. Check your data usage history to see whether you ran out of data.

I'm not sure if you've tried this but I had to update my phone's "access point names" since the phone I  was using was from a different carrier. 

Note: The location of these setting may vary depending on which version of Android you are using. Generally Access Point Names (APN) settings are under Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet) > Mobile Network > Advanced. After you go to “ Access Point Names ”, Press ADD to add new APN.

 

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: Leave blank

 

This trouble shooting step should be done if using a new SIM card activation with public mobile if the internet doesn't work when it normally should
