No signal after activation of new SIM

Hey y'all, I just got my new SIM in the mail and activated it. Received an email saying it's all good to go, but the phone says "emergency calls only" and I'm not able to receive the 6 digit code via SMS the app wants to send me to verify me. I'm in DT Toronto, is this normal? What could be the cause?

Hello @Zeddartha 

So there are a few things you can do.

1. Restart your phone.

2. Because your phone may have been on a different carrier before, it may have their info left over. You can go in to your Settings profile and clear your Network Settings and then reboot the phone ( with the PM SIM card in it of course ).

3. Sometimes, the SIM card isn't provisioned properly. If you have another phone to try it in, that seems to reprovision the SIM card. If that works and that phone then works, then slide the SIM card back in your primary phone and reboot.

try reboot the phone, reset network settings on the phone and see if it works
