No incoming/outcoming calls

I can't receive or make out going calls.  Also anyone without an iphone can't receive my texts nor can I text them.  Only imessages work. 

It's been over a week.  I have turned the phone off and on, removed Sim card. 

I have called the porting number and they say my number has been ported.

Thinking I should just cancel my public moblie and go somewhere else

Maybe give the suggestions from this link a try.

Also try deleting all previous Carrier Profiles under Settings -> General -> Profiles.

Check to see if your phone was added to be blacklisted, here:  https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

Also, was your phone locked to its previous provider? If so, you will need to contact them to unlock it for you.

@Tonya22...are you able to try that sim in a different phone...to see if the problem is phone-related ?

I just did again and nothing??

I have been doing this all week hoping it would kick in.

when I try and call out it says Public mobile here......your call cannot be completed please check the number.

When I try and call my phone it says it goes straight to my voicemail.

It shows Pulic mobile and signal is strong.

Data works no problem

My account looks good.

The porting number I called signed into my account and said everything looks good.

It's sooo weird that I can't figure this out.

@Tonya22 , have you checked your self serve account to make sure everything looks in order there?  Usually, incomplete number porting affects incoming call functionality.  Calling out should work.

What is it showing on top of the phone screen? do you see Public Mobile on top? How about the Signal level?

When you put the old sim back in your phone...does it still work ? Can you make a call with old sim in the phone ?
