@Zhen88

The GST/HST on applied mostly on kids toys and food. Not on everything.

Here is what the tax break applies to:

https://www.canada.ca/en/services/taxes/child-and-family-benefits/gst-hst-holiday-tax-break.html

Thanks @Dunkman, it seems you are correct, the exemption list does look quite small so it's definitely not on all purchases

@eddieO

There is no point in getting hold of customer service agent.  Mobile services are not part of the GST holiday.

@Zhen88 get in touch with a support agent, here in the community we are customers like you and do not have access to accounts.

You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)

Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)

* Added: It doesn't look like cell plans are included in the list of exemptions. I recommend to an online search to get a more accurate list of what is included.
