New subscriber and not yet ported in my phone number

Hello,

 I subscribed yesterday to public mobile and requested to use my current phone number, and it was supposed to take up to 5 hours until it’s ported in, but until now it is still connected with the old service provider.

Could you please check and complete the port in to public mobile so I can cancel with the old provider.

I called the port in assistance and they said 2 days only

I've read that in the past...it could take 7 to 14 days for your voip number to successfully port to Public Mobile. Re-boot your cell a few times during the day.

Yes, the porting process for VoIP with take 3 to 5 days to complete like landlines. So you might not get a confirmation text.

I didn’t get the message yet.

But the service provider is using a VoIP network which might be a different process.

did you receive a message from old provider to confirm your port request ? You must reply YES within 90 minutes. Leave the old sim in the phone until it quits working...then install your new Public Mobile sim. Then...you should be good to go.
