New phone number & refer a friend

I registered with a new phone number when i signed up with PM. Then i had to change my phone number. When i referred a friend and was trying to enter my phone number when signing up, it says both of my phone number wont work. How do i refer a friend now?

Unless there was a stuck number change, the account should have had a valid number attached to it at the time the referral was applied.  If there was a glitch, then it is possible that a valid number was not associated with the account, making it but possible to do the referral.  If the friend has already set up the account, the only way to get the referral is to have the friend start up another account.  That is expensive.  Payback will take forever.

@Peachjelly do you remember what was the exact message or error that did not let you enter your and your friends phone number for referral?

 

if it is really due to a system glitch then the mods maybe able to help you. 

Otherwise as @ShawnC13 mentioned, if the referral is not done at the time of account registration then it's too late.

@ShawnC13, has this always been the case or did that change? I recall when I first joined and referred a friend but the rewards did not show up, the Moderators were able to add it for me manuallly.

Hi @Peachjelly,

 

You can have your friend sign up as normal and then send a message to the Moderators letting them know the phone number/name of the friend you referred and the Moderators should be able to confirm the referral and manually give you the referral rewards.

 

If the registration page does not let your friend continue with your number inputted in the referral number field then please send a message to the Moderators for help.

 

If it does let your friend continue the sign up process with your number in the referral field, send a message to the Moderators after your friend have signed up with your friend's name and phone number, then the Moderators should be able confirm the referral and add the rewards to your account manually.

While you're at it, also ask the Moderators to look into the issue as to why your phone numbers do not work when someone puts them down for referral 🙂
