There are many phones that can be purcahsed in North Amerca that don't work at Public Mobile that were imported from various places around the globe, although some of them will work. However, Motorola devices sold through official authorized channels will be fine.

YES, your Edge 2022 will work on PM network It has the compatible bands to be used on PM network
this are the bands on your phone, BOLD are the compatible ones.
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 20, 29, 30, 40, 41, 48, 66
and fyi, these are the bands PM network needs

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:
4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz (band 5), 1900 MHz (band 2) and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
3G/HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).
As long as phone supports these frequencies, it should work.
