Keep your old provider sim card until it no longer works
after you replied the porting authorization text from your old provider, the old sim should still work for 30 mins to 4 hours. When you notice the old sim no longer works, you can then insert your PM sim card. Make sure you test both incoming and outgoing calls and text as well as Mobile data
