Hi ,

 

I got a divorce and have legally changed my last name. I am now using my maiden name.

I have changed my email address, too.

 

I have already changed my last name here but I need to change my email address.

 

Can someone please help me with this? Thanks

@Publicl60   Yes, you have to open ticket with PM Support to get the email address changed

**Start with typing "Forgot Login Information", click "Contact Us", click "Click here to submit a ticket".

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply you there

I just need to change my self-serve email address to log into my account. I use an old email address as my user name and a customer support agent has to do that…

I'd ensure the self-serve account e-mail address is updated 1st, then change the Community e-mail address afterwards to match it.

 

@HALIMACS just a thought but a person should wait to change their community account email until they get their self serve email changed by cs-agent or they may not get a response from agent?

There are 2 e-mail addresses associated with Public Mobile customers who have registered a Community account (which you have):

 

  1. To change your self-serve e-mail address used to login to the self-serve site, do as provided by @RossN  & @DDM69 above.   Only the Customer Support Agents can amend that.
  2. To change your Community e-mail address, click on your avatar above right, then go down to My Settings and change your Community e-mail address there such that it is the same as your self-serve login e-mail address.  The value in doing this is to ensure the ticketing process with the CSA's can be streamlined and also to ensure any community rewards can be associated with the correct service account.
