New $40/15gb "4G" Plan showing in self serve on the plans page

☎️HOLY MOLY MEMBERS!! If you have been wanting your fair share of these promos here it is...

Screenshot_20221028_064755_Chrome.jpg

I strongly suggest anyone activated on the 12gb promocode schedule a change plan on next renewal.....mind you clarification from @J_PM  that $$ rewards customers keep them vs the points wording would be reassuring along with clarifying that current points customers that activated before July 13th 2022 will switch to 3×Points back? Permanently?!!🤔🤪

Edit:

FYI.....better safe than sorry. Be sure to take a screenshot of your scheduled change plan on next renewal to ensure you can prove that you have scheduled it on next renewal in case you need to prove it!

Thanks @dabr and @dust2dust . I changed to the OP plan on the next renewal (Early Dec.). My current plan is a very old $120/12G/3 months one.

I think assuring that the plan change will be honoured is premature until we hear what happens to people having scheduled the plan before the plan gets removed. As we saw with the $55/20gb plan, people had to fight for it. With no proof of having scheduled the plan, I'm not sure of peoples success in getting that plan on their say so.

We don't know how long this plan will be on offer.

Considering how much time I spent jumping through the hoops for that "nice-to-have" $55/20GB plan it's somewhat ironic that there's now a plan change to the $40/15GB on that account - it's a better deal for my usage pattern. And yes, I have a screenshot this time.

thanks @dust2dust  for confirming.  Maybe it was a cache problem  😂

@BearFBI- I had kind of assumed one could but I tried it and it says invalid. The code works otherwise.

Adding -@hTideGnow - The plan shows on activation.

The real question is can new customers pair this with the 12GB promo code ? 27GB of data ?

HI @BearFBI  I think this is why this plan is not showing on activation.  There would be too many data to use for $40  🙂

Hi guys, haven't been on here in a while. I decided to login today, rare I know, and I saw this plan. What a coincidence. I scheduled it for next renewal and we'll see. This deal is smoking hot with my rewards, honestly can say that nothing can beat it, not even my foreign e sim.

The real question is can new customers pair this with the 12GB promo code ? 27GB of data ?

@yingbo- The only limit would be if they decide to make it change like with the old $10 plan. Otherwise you would keep it as long you wish. It's the other promo data that is 12 months.

@yingbo   You get to keep it as long as you don't change plans afterwards.  Make sure you schedule for Change at Next Renewal though since there's no prorating at PM.

Hi,

Thanks for the post, @darlicious . I'm just curious is the $40/15G plan only for 12 months, or it will stay forever after I switch?

@dust2dust

Good point. I edited my original post with an FYI.

Just immediately switched plans, thanks @darlicious and @J_PM!

@CalvinW

Select change plan on next renewal. The deal will be honored.

Do I have switch right away or can I select change on renewal date? Will plan still be honoured?

@darlicious  The offer finally showed up..👍

@darliciousdone all that.. from a mobile device tho.. not sure if that makes a difference..

I suppose you could clog the official channel with questions that could be answered by the broader community.  I have not been moved out of the old rewards system as a result of a plan change.

I think the 3x points would be for 12 months if it is like what has been advertised when it first came out. I am just wondering if existing customers would still get it, bc they wouldn't get it before but this was on there for existing customers. That would def be nice.

will this result in 3x reward points as long as we stay on the plan?

Thanks for the link. I didn't remember exactly which thead it was but only that it was in one of the threads for 4g plan changes (there were a few recently).

@dust2dust

In one of the new plan announcement threads, J_PM did confirm that switching plans doesn't switch a customer to points.

Wouldn't we all PREFER an official response? The question has come up frequently these days since the new 4G plans rolled out that talk about the 3x points which makes people wonder.

Switching plans doesn't switch reward system.  This plan should be no different.

@Metal1967

Did you click on the arrows? The regular plan shows up first. The promotional plan is one plan over.

For those who don't see the deal, just ditch the mobile browser and log into your account on a laptop/desktop using Chrome. If you still don't see it, then we have a situation on your hands.

Thank you for confirming this plan is permanent when one switches over and does not change unless customer decides to

Really good treat for Halloween weekend and luckily not a trick at all 🙂

Are you viewing the cached version of your self serve? Log out. Log in with secret/incognito mode.

@Metal1967- I was answering the activation question. I do see it in change plans.

@J_PM- Are you able to assuage uncertainty that existing rewards customers will not be switched to points?
