HI @Skyhigh You are lucky
PM is prepaid provider, no contract, you can just leave by not making the next payment

Pre-paid...means if you don't pay, you don't get.
You only pay if you want service for 30 days. After 30 days, service either stops or you re-up your plan.
There are no charges that you're responsible for.

@Skyhigh Not for prepaid service as you don't receive any service if you haven't already paid for it. That's why it's recommended to remove the payment card altogether if you're planning on leaving PM, but you'll still get 90 days to change your mind.

And I won't be held responsible for charges?

@Skyhigh You're right officially you haven't cancelled anything but the 90 days suspension act as sort of a grace period for customers who maybe vacationing and don't want to fund their account when not in use, however, after 90 days, then account will officially deactivate and number will also be lost.

Your next billing with fail and your account will Suspend. No need to pay anything else. After 90 days in Suspend, the account is closed down for good.
As a prepaid service...you can leave whenever you want without penelty.

Thanks but in theory I havent cancelled anything by simply removing the payment method. PM can probably come after me for non payment

After 90 days of non payment your account will permanently close automatic. So nothing else to do.
You could ask a customer service agent to totally remove your CC from your account of you ask them to do that.

Thanks. I did that already. But there had to be more to it than that right? It does still say I owe $ at my next billing cycle. There has to be an official way to notify a cancellation.

Remove your credit card from Autopay.
If you plan to port away from PM, your account will close out when port is successful.

@Skyhigh Port out your number to another carrier and the account will close although make sure to remove any payment card before porting out as access to account is lost after porting.
Or remove payment card/disable pre-authorized payment (toggle off) and account will deactivate after 90 days of suspension due to non-payment.

Login to your account and disable autopay if you have a credit card there.
