Need help to transfer number to Public Mobile

My present mobile service is the hosiptal that I work and I know the service is Rogers.  My hosiptal bill account number for the mobile plan start with a "S" and I cannot put it into public mobile website transfer form, there is a Roger's PO number in the bill, I am not sure if that is the account number with Rogers.  Should I use the IMEI number of my present phone for the transfer?  Thanks.

Using IMEI is certainly possible. It's just that it fails more often.  For some number porting requests, using the IMEI is actually the proper thing to do (porting from Ztar Mobile is a good example of that).

do not use IMEI, most the time it has problem

you should make sure your hospital allows you to port out the line, then call Rogers and ask for account number and come back to PM to port

or if you like, you can also pick a new number with PM first.  After the line is activated, you can go back to My Account->Profile->Transfer phone number and request porting.  I believe they won't ask you account number that way.  Or you can open a ticket with PM at that time and ask them to help with the port
