Hello everyone,
I'm an existing Public Mobile customer, and I've just purchased a new Pixel 9a to use as a secondary device. I'm hoping to use it for data only, as my primary Public Mobile phone is an iPhone.
I recently installed a new Public Mobile eSIM on the Pixel 9a, but I'm a bit confused about the next steps. I'm looking for a data plan for this new line, but I'm not seeing any "data only" options.
Can someone please clarify if Public Mobile offers true data-only plans for a secondary phone line? Or do I need to sign up for a regular plan with talk and text and simply not use those features?
If a regular plan is the only option, what is the best way to get a new line activated on my secondary phone?
Do I need to create a brand new account with a separate email address?
Can I use the same credit card on a new account?
I've heard about referral rewards. Can I use my own referral code from my primary account when I create this new secondary account?
Any advice on the simplest way to get this set up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

there are currently no data only plans with Public Mobile.
You'll need to downlaod the app to the new cell to create a new account and buy an esim (or buy a hard sim from Amazon or Mobile Klinik in your area). You'll need to use a different email address than other plan. You can use same payment card.
You can use referral code from other account applied to new account.
