My phone shows: "No Service"

Hi,

My phone shows "No Service" all of a sudden.

I have restarted my phone, but that does not seem to fix the issue.

I have turned on airplane mode, and turned it off.

I have also turned on WiFi, and turned it off again.

I am unable to make calls.

@ranahamza if your SIM does not work in another phone, possible network issue??

Check for outages in your area:

https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages

https://istheservicedowncanada.com/status/telus

https://downdetector.ca/status/telus/map/

Perhaps you SIM card shifted in the sim slot affecting the contact points. Remove it and gently place it back and see if that helps.

@ranahamza

did you just recently get that phone from Kijii or eBay or buy privately ?

Sometimes the bad guys sell hot phones...then later the original owner will blacklist that phone.

Try your sim in a different phone to prove that theory.

Have a look at devicecheck.ca to rule that out.

From another phone, dial 1-855-4pu-blic and enter your number to hear what the account has to say. Let us know.
