Hello, my friend wants to switch to PM with MOTO ONE VISION, but only model XT1970-1 & 3 on phone list. Is XT1970-2 also compatible with PM? Thanks.

Your friend already using the phone now?  make sure the phone is unlocked

If buying new, make sure to buy from a trusted source

This model should work with Public mobile also.

Here are the specs:

Primary 3G networkUMTS 850/900/1700/1900/2100
Primary 4G networkLTE Cat6 (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 28, 66)

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

  • 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

3G = 850 (5), 1900 (2)

4G = 850 (5), 1900 (2), 700 (12/13/17/29), 1700/2100 (4), 2600 (7), 1700/2100 (66)

As long as that phone supports and can handle PM's frequencies, you should be OK.

Ideally, if you can find a friend with PM service and try SIM in that phone to be 100% sure.
