I just heard from someone that they called me, got my voicemail and left a message, yet my phone never rang, doesn't show a missed call, and doesn't show a voicemail. Their phone shows that they called me, but mine doesn't show any receipt. I also heard from someone at a hospital recently that they tried repeatedly to call me over a short period of time. They finally left a voicemail which thankfully I received so I was able to call back, but my phone never rang. Help! I have no way of knowing how often this is happening.

Not for her case. APN has no bearing to UMTS (3G) voice calls and since PM does not support VOLTE at the moment, APN has no consequence to her case.
My recommendation is still the same: test the sim card on another phone - best to get one that was factory reset with no accounts setup and no extra apps installed. If that works, then it's the phone that's blocking the call - most likely via phone's block function.

Hi @hycm53 from what I understand, APN will only affects data and MMS. APN won't affect Voice

@Alison20 Check your phone APN setting.

My suggestion is to get another phone (eg. an older iPhone that was newly reset back to factory would be ideal - no iCloud accounts, no extra apps installed), put your sim card in that phone and have your friend call you. If it rings then it's a phone problem and not a network problem.

Good suggestion, but no.

Even if it's coming from a hospital landline and I'm at home?

Did you put his phone number on your block list by accident?

I don't think it's location related. The first time it happened I was at home, where I normally receive calls with no issue.

@Alison20 Service from hospitals is sometimes affected.. I’ve had issues in that respect.. try different areas.. and different callers. Good luck.. hope you figure it out

Ok Thanks. Still learning about how this forum works. I sent a message to customer support so hopefully they're figuring this out for me.

@Alison20 you don't have to repost a new one. You can continue reply here and we will help here 🙂

@Alison20 do you notice if any chance you only miss class while at a particular location? PM uses 3G for voice and if there is a 3G network issue in that area, you might experience call missing issue.
You can try your phone in different area and if you are getting calls, then yes, it is a problem with 3G issue on a particular location
And if you have another phone , try putting PM sim card in the other phone and see if it helps

Not sure about this. My signal strength is strong, but there's still no indication of the missed call or message from today that I've confirmed on the phone that tried to call me.

Hit the wrong button. I didn't mean to accept this as a solution -- I still don't have a solution.

No I've been a PM customer for several years.

@Alison20 , please pay close attention to the signal strength of the cellular connection. I can only surmise that the phone is spuriously disconnecting and reconnecting from the network.

HI @Alison20 you are not new customers, right?
and you can make outbound calls?
Try to change the network type to 3G only and it could help
Also, try to reseat your sim card with a reboot

@Alison20 Did you port your number to PM?
