Mexico to Canada call fails when when using my Canada-USA-Mexico plan

I’m trying to call a Canadian number from Mexico. I’ve triad the following way of dialing:

1 <area code> <7-digit number>
001 <area code> <7-digit number>
+1 ….. 

00+1 …..

using an iPhone 17 with a PM eSIM 

I have googled and asked  ChatGPT but no luck so far.

I manually selected the AT&T network and the call went through. 
Movistar and Telcel both failed.

try reboot phone and test

also, try different network.  Change the network connection to manual and connect to AT&T, Telcel amd Movistar. Test on each of these networks

it is free calls, but many people have trouble calling. 

Try all these ways to call Canadian and US number when you are in Mexico.  (Some confirmed only one of these ways work for them, so really try them all)

• +1 <area code> <7 digits>
• 001 <area code> <7 digits>
• 00+1 <area code> <7 digits>   (key is to use a + in between the 00 , actual dial the plus sign, it does not mean concatenation)
•  00 1 <area code> <7 digits>
