A quick way to suspend service is to just disable Autopay using 1.855.4PUBLIC. If won't suspend as Lost/Stolen, but it will at least stop Autopay for renewal if renewal date is coming
And you should do couple things as well
1. Buy a PM sim card as well as a new phone
get a Public Mobile sim card from
2. complete the setup of EverSafe, the new login system for My Account
Since you have not ceated an EverSafe id yet, you won't be able complete the part to link your My Account with the EverSafe ID, that needs a working phone with a working PM sim using SMS. (Sending the code to email would not be a choice until EverSafe id is fully setup)
Try these workarounds, it could bypass the SMS in linking My Account with EverSafe ID
If none of those workarounds helps, please open ticket with support and have them to help in this situation:

Did you register your email on Eversafe?
If you did, enter your email and password then click on Resend Code. You will have the option to send the 2FA code to your email, text or calling.
