Long Wait Time to Port Number from Koodo Prepaid

Hi Everyone - is it normal to wait a long time for the Moderator to assist with porting a number from Koodo Prepaid to Public? I have a SIM, but no response from the Moderator. Thanks in advance.

@Etienne77

I think you are mixing up two different processes.

If you port from Koodo POSTpaid you can use the porting function in self serve.

If you port from Koodo PREpaid, you have to register with a new random Public Mobile number and then send a private message to the moderators. Reason: Public Mobile and Koodo PREpaid share back end infrastructure so the system thinks that you are attempting to port from the same provider, which is not possible.

Re OP: It seems that the moderators are still quite busy with the aftermath of last weeks' system problems. Officially they get back to you in the range of 2 to 48 hours, but it might be longer right now.

@smccrindle, moderator team response time is variable dependent on the number of ongoing requests.  From my own personal experiences with recent interaction, response time is around 3-4 hours.
