LOCAL HARDLINE TO NPA-NXX 367-994 NOT GOING THROUGH

Hello,

I am writing to report a telephone connection problem in the Magdalen Islands. It appears to be impossible to reach certain numbers when the caller is located on the islands using a TELEBEC hardline (LIKE NPA-NXX 418-986)

We have confirmed that the archipelago's hospital, the CLSC, CTMA, Centre dentaire and Havre-Aubert are all experiencing a "fast busy tone" problem when trying to reach the following NPA-NXX:

  • 367-994
  • Cap-aux-Meules (Magdalen Islands)
  • CPMLPQXT1MD
  • 8303 TELE-MOBILE COMPANY DBA TELUS MOBILITY

Please examine this situation and inform us of the measures taken to resolve this issue.

sound like it is a Telus problem and not coverage (since you actually can receive calls)

can anyone on Rogers reaches you?

when you open ticket with PM, you can actually ask them to escalate to Telus engineers

You can submit a ticket via the chatbot by clicking on the chat bubble at the bottom right of your screen or send a private message describing the issue by clicking below:

But the agent will only being able to open a ticket for you with the tech team from Telus ( get the ticket reference # for follow up messages). You may be better off contacting Telus's technical department directly at 1-888-811-2323.

There is no one from Public mobile or Telus monitoring those threats, it’s better to send a message to support agent, so public mobile can investigate this issue.

Its not working since severals months. Only mobile phone can reach us (NPA-NXX 418-937 418-969).
The hardline on the same NPA-NXX 418-937 can't reach us. So what I know is that the mobile phones are going through BELL MOBILITE and the hardline is routed via TELEBEC DMS-100 switch from the good old Nortel internet bubble time...

it ever works on the island?

the Telus outage said nothing wrong there

the Telus coverage map shows it has 4G and 5G

I think you can try change the network mode to 4G and 5G, check if works

if not, use the Chatbox icon on the lower right  and report to PM that way
