Is there anybody I can talk to? Can't create a new account, want to re-use my old PM SIM

Hello! I have my old Public Mobile SIM card that I used for almost 3 years and I've made a mistake switching to BellMTS. Is there a way to switch back using my old PM SIM or do I need to purchase a new one?

How could I create a new account if I need a new one? Something has changed since I created my account (and it seems like it was killed once I moved my number to BellMTS) and I can't create a new one:

instead of having a next-next wizard I need to open a new ticket (wth?) and I can not because there is NO option to open a new case using the new wizard. My new SIM has been shipped today from Amazon, but it seems like I will return it and buy PC Mobile instead 🙂

@beerjulka   No, sim cards are one time use.  Once activated and deactivated, it cannot be re-used

you said you already order a new one from Amazon? just wait for it to arrive and you can activate with the new sim card and request porting in from BellMTS

Since your old SIM has been cancel longer than 90 days…it can’t be reuse and is useless. PM recently changed their policy on sale of their SIM. You can only order the SIM through PM. There are some Telus/Koodo stores that might carry them…not my neighborhood Telus/Koodo store.

You can create a new account and port your old number once you receive your new SIM from Amazon.

You cannot reuse old SIM cards. You will have to buy new one and proceed with activation. You can order PM SIM from PM or see if Telus/Koodo stores still have some. Try ebay too in case somebody has it there.

You need to buy a new sim card from a Telus or Koodo store and then activate online   at https://activate.publicmobile.ca/

But a new sim card is coming from Amazon?  then it is good, wait till your new sim card comes and you can activate online

When you activate, you can also request porting in your old number from BellMTS.  A reminder, your BellMTS account has to be activate and need to receive a text there.  You need to reply that text and approve the porting

@beerjulka hi if you ported your number or your account was suspended more then 90 days your account is closed and your sim is no longer any good you will need a new sim and account ,sorry
