Is there a charge to call Canada when you have USA Roaming?

Let me go one step further to help describe why there are never, EVER, any surprise or added costs here.

With Public Mobile, like any pre-paid provider, when someone is trying something, it'll either WORK or it WON'T WORK.

The beauty of pre-paid services is you only get what was previously paid for by way of services and coverage.

There's never any overages or added costs for things.

Think of it like a vending machine.  You only get the product AFTER you've inserted the necessary funds to purchase what you want from the machine.   If you want something more expensive, you have to first add extra funds to get the added item.

Same as Public Mobile.

If you happen to have one of the Canada/US plans, then you can call anywhere in the US and back to Canada at no charge WHILE you're in the US. But if you have a regular package, you would need to purchase a 15 day US Talk and Text add on before you go to the US. Just know that you need to do it the night before you leave and when you get to the US, you'll need to go into your Network Settings and choose T-Mobile and then reboot. You'd be up and running.

nope...not as long as you have successfully purchased the correct US roaming add-on.
