I have the $34 Canada wide plan with 50Gb data. I was thinking to upgrade to get the extra data but just wanted to make sure it's the same features as the new one. When I click to change subscription I don't see anything stated about unlimited international text and picture messaging as is stated in my current subscription. So this is why I'm wondering if the one offered for new activations from the 'Shop' page is a different features set than the one showing up for existing customers.
EDIT: the foot note 2 says - "Unlimited Canada-wide minutes include calls made and completed within Canada. Roaming applies outside of Canada. Long distance rates apply to calls made from Canada to outside Canada. International picture and text messaging includes text messages that are sent from or received in Canada. Excludes premium and subscription-based messages, and texts sent while roaming outside of Canada."
But the wording of the new plan features doesn't explicitly say that you are getting international picture and text messaging the way I see it. Or does it include it just because the word "Text" has footnote 2 attached to it?

There are plans that aren't marked as only being for new activations that some existing customers can't get, but there are also plans that are marked as being only for new activations that some existing customers can get. I see the for new activations only disclaimer on the Shop page to now be meaningless.

If you tap "learn more" for it on the Shop page, it says for new activations only (I'm looking under Ontario). That's why I mentioned it could be available under "change subscription" in an account but not if going straight to the Shop page. So the Shop page "learn more" for that plan is incorrect?

" international picture and text messaging " (sent from Canada to overseas and receive text in Canada from your overseas friends) is included in all plans, so it is part of the $34-60GB plan as well
similarly , Call display, Call Forwarding, Conference calls and Voicemail are basic feature for all plans

yes, I can confirm it is pretty much the same plan except this new one comes with extra data. If it is available on your My Account -> Change Subscription page, then change it using "Change on Renewal". Price has dropped a lot in the last couple years and PM has some good promo plans like that once in a while

@Phil_Adelphus Sorry I had to add some more clarifications to my original post. The reason I posted is because the plan features appear different from the 'Shop' page and the one I see when I click 'Change Subscription' I was wondering if they are in fact the same plan or actually different feature set. (i.e. one with international text and picture messaging and the other is without)

@erotavlas Then assuming the one you're being offered is the same as on the Shop page, it does appear to have the same features. Just make sure to select "change on renewal" and not "change now" to avoid being charged immediately and losing what's left of your current plan.

@erotavlas Unless you can see the new plan under "change subscription" in your account, you won't be able to change to it in any case. The 60GB plan offered on the general "Shop" page is for new activations only.
