It doesn't show up on the comparability chart for Public Mobile. I'll be getting a Google Pixel 6 in the new year and just want to make sure it'd be compatible with Public Mobile before I do so. Thanks in advance!

@kellibns if you're interested, I've posted some impressions with my Pixel 6 in another thread. You may want to start here https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/The-Lounge/Google-Pixel-6/m-p/752993/highlight/true#M...and work your way through the rest of the thread. TL;DR: phone works just fine with the Telus network (on which PM and Koodo both also operate) and has been a joy to use so far.

@pkaraa this doesn't really apply to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, all versions have identical 3G and 4G radios, and only differ in 5G capabilities (which definitely do not impact anyone's ability to use the phone with Public Mobile. More here and here.

It's definitely good to inquire, @kellibns
Practically any device sold within the North American mobile market will be compatible (maybe not fully, however functional) with Public Mobile.
Where one may get into issues is when purchasing a device privately or from a foreign location (namely, overseas) where it may not be suitable for the networks around here.

Always good to check whether a phone will work with any provider, especially Public Mobile. Use more than one source to be sure.
