Wife and I both have these. She's more affected than I am, that indicated mobile signal strength goes to zero bars (while in good coverage) and calls and text messages don't come in. Rebooting the phone for sure fixes this, possibly toggling airplane mode off and on does too.
This is likely a software issue as these phones did not have problems prior to recent updates. Just curious who else is affected. These phones were sold as the lowest-cost option at Costco so surely lots of people around here have them.

These phones are capped at Android 13, and that is installed. They still get semi-annual "security" updates and I wish they didn't, because they used to be rock solid and now aren't.

it is a new enough phone, does it have any OS update? check
also try Reset Network Settings
and try putting another active sim card to test
