Question for those of us who travel and have problems with their credit card. The credit card company typically shows a 'collect call' number. If we chose to dial that number, will we be charged for minutes/roaming for that single call?

A collect call cannot be made on Public Mobile service. As to whether direct dialing the phone number would work, I'm assuming that it's the local number of a Canadian bank/Canadian credit card issuer. Whether that call can be made depends on whether you have a plan that includes roaming in the US or Mexico and you currently making the call from there. The call will not go through if calling from anywhere except from Canada, or the US or Mexico (if you have a plan that includes roaming in these countries). If you're in the US or Mexico and do not have a plan or add-on that includes roaming, the call will also fail.
