Hi,
I don't need my phone for 30 days. I would like to turn off autopay and let it be suspended for 30 days but I would prefer not to lose my addons which I have.
Will they still be there when I reactivate?

Hi @DamnIHateThat ,
#1: Unfortunately, Public Mobile does not have a pause function.
However, at your next plan renewal date, you can defer payment and place the account in suspension for up to 90 days before making the next payment which will restore your account to active status.
OR
You can just disable autopay (as long as there are no available funds in your account), and it will automatically be suspended when it comes time to renew your plan.
Note that if more than 90 days have passed in suspend, your account and SIM card will be permanently deactivated."
Reactivate A Suspended Plan
All you need to do is top-up your balance to keep the current plan going. You have up to 90 days to make a payment and, after doing so, your payment cycle will restart and your service will resume. After 90 days of non-payment, your account will be permanently deactivated, which means you will:
1-Lose access to your phone number, and won’t be able to transfer it to a new provider in the future.
2-Need a new Public Mobile SIM card if you decide to activate a new Public Mobile account.
So ensure you reactivate your account before the 90 day is up...probably at least 4-5 days before your 90 days is up to ensure all is good.
Reactivate a suspended account online or by calling 611.
Via your account online
1. If you have already registered, or will first register, a credit card, go to step 2. OR deposit a voucher for at least your plan cost and go to step 3.
2. Go to the payment tab, select single payment and amount due.
3. Select the reactivate account button.
4. Restart your phone.
or Using 611 to make your payment: ( you need your 4 digit pin to buy an add on)
1. press 1 to make payment
2. press 2 credit card ( or 1 voucher)
3. press 1 amount due.
4. Restart your phone.
#2: The promo posted on December 22, 2020 showed in the terms and conditions, this:
"The 5GB one-time data bonus will be applied to rate plans of $25/month or more. Bonus data will expire if account becomes inactive or the rate plan is changed. "
So it sounds to me "officially" you would lose this bonus 5GB is suspended (as I suspected "inactive" is referring to the same thing).
But, you never know, maybe a nice glitch will happen and it will stay. 🙂

@DamnIHateThat Also the add-ons can't be used until your plan is reactivated. Some data bonuses have term of losing them if account is suspended.

@DamnIHateThat yes they will. Remember once account goes to suspended status. It can remain in that status for 90 days before it's closed and deleted. If you need longer set a reminder around 85 day mark to reactivate.
