I've bought a 1000-long distance minute subscription, but why can't I make calls to China?

I've subscribed 1000 International minutes already, but still can not make calls to China

Does anyone know what's causing this?

You can still call China in US if you have US roaming or if you have a Canada/US plan

may be due to I am in US rather than Canada😅

@Meow

the currently offered $35 Canada / Mex / us plan included 1000 International calling minutes to several countries including calls to China. As long as the op has this plan, they should be able to call China...just need to have the correct dialing protocol. Hopefully op will come back and report their success.

add +86 before the number when you dialing, for example +8610086

Are you sure you can call China with your 1000-int min?

China is included in Holiday bonuses, though, as I am am aware....

You actually bought Wrong add-on. You should get this one:

Which add-on did you purchase? Or which  plan do you have?

You checked the Usage Breakdown on the main page that the minutes are still there? Your Account is active?

Also, you must be IN Canada to call  to China.

If yes, restart your phone and try again. Sometimes a simple restart is all you need.

I've never had to call China but here's some help courtesy of gogle...

When calling China from Canada, follow these simple steps:
  1. Step 1: Begin by dialing Canada's exit code, which is 011.
  2. Step 2: Next, enter China's country code, which is +86, followed by the area code of the city (if any).
  3. Step 3: Lastly, dial the local number, which consists of 8 digits.
