I tried to transfer from Chatr to Public Mobile porting my number. After filling the informtaion when I activated public mobile, I can call other people using PM sim card. The ported number even shows on other people's phone. However, when other people call me back, they go to Chatr. Some texts are sent and received OK, but not all.

If you didn't use your Chatr account number for proof of number porting authorization, you'll want to give Chatr customer service a phone call. This is the only way to get your Chatr account number as Chatr's self service website will not provide this for you.

How long ago did you ported your Chatr number to PM?
It will take a few hours to complete the port. PM had done it work to setup your PM account with your Chatr number. This is why you can call out with your PM SIM card. You are waiting for Chatr to release your number to PM. You can continue to use your Chatr SIM card until it stops working which means that your port to PM is completed. You can use your PM SIM card.

@oscar99, as @hzmy mentioned, give it some time. What you are seeing is normal. Outgoing calls will show the number you ported, but incoming calls will continue to go to your Chatr line until it has been ported. When the Chatr line dies, you should start receiving calls on your PM SIM. If the port is not complete by tomorrow, then you would need to contact the moderator team to see why the port is stuck. Sometimes companies do not release the number to the new carrier until they have had a chance to try to convince the customer to stay...

Chatr will need to release your number. May take some time but it should be fine. Wait till tomorrow morning and see if this still persists.
