I can make calls but not receive calls.

I transfer my phone number from Fido, and I did not receive a "yes, or no" text from Fido, so I called. I can make calls now, but I cannot receive them. I don't know Looks like it hasn't been processed yet. In addition, the submit a ticket is erroring. I want to solve it quickly.

You need to keep the Fido SIM in your phone to receive the text from Fido.

Also, your Fido account must be active before you can port your number.

So put the Fido SIM back in your phone and see if the text was received. You have 90 minutes window to reply.

Then make sure to place your prior provider SIM card in device, await text for port authorization, reply "YES", then replace with your newly activated Public Mobile SIM card.

 

Reboot your device, and you should be good to go.
