How can I upgrade my current monthly plan from $35 to $40 without paying $40 but just the $5 extra? My renewal date was yesterday and I should of took the $40 plan instead of the $35 plan. Now is it possible to just upgrade my plan to the $40 one without having to pay the full $40 but instead just the difference from $35 to $40 meaning only pay $5 and the extra taxes?

@stonechucker I meant I don't think it's possible to do that change right away. I know you can go and put it as next renewal but she was asking to do it right away as in the day after her renewal

You could ask moderators to help you out, they don't have to do it, but it's worth a shot
Preload the difference on your account, if they refuse it's ok it will be used for the next renewal.
Advice
If you scheduled switch, load the money before the due date to avoid problems if autopay fails.
If you already scheduled the switch and you decide to ask mods to help you switch now for the difference and if they say yes, don't forget to cancel the switch.
Asking the moderators is a waste of resources. The self serve system allows for a delayed change to the new plan. If you're looking to get more data, you should really be adding the Data addons.
Moderators are meant to help only in situations where users can not do something themself in self serve.
@stonechucker I think what @lindmar67 is referring to is...loading the extra funds ($5) and submitting a ticket to the moderators to ask if they will change the $35 plan to $40 plan this cycle due to the OPs error during a plan change. He is suggesting to choose the $40 plan on the next renewal by scheduling it but if the moderators grant the request to then cancel the the change because the $40 plan will already be in effect. Unless you are saying it's a waste of time to ask the mods for the change...in the current cycle for $5. This the OP cannot do.
That being said the $35 plan has the least value of all plans and i dont see the point of it. All $25+ plans have unlimited text and talk. So why pay $10 more than the $25 for 500mb more data or $5 less for 3.5gb less data. Using that math the $40 plans extra 3.5gb would be valued at $70 more. The $35 plan makes no sense and pm needs to rework the middle ground between the $25 and$40 plans. There needs to be 1 or 2 plans with a data range between 2gb and 3.5gb between the $25 and $40 plans.

False info. It is totally possible, as described in the post immediately after yours. Please research before responding, if you don't think so.

No, your best bet is to schedule change of plan for your next renewal right now.
