Hello I’ve put my mother on a public mobile plan with a phone number she transferred which she’s been using for a long time. After several months of being abroad she lost her service with Public Mobile and I want to recover it for her. The number to dial is still out of service so I was wondering if I can get that number back from her or is it too late? Her last payment was on February and I’m assuming there’s a 90 day limit to where she can recover, but looking back at her emails it reminded her back in June. Is it possible to recover or impossible?
Thanks

She will need to go back to the carrier she original got the number from. It will be put on hold for another 90 days before the carrier will give the number to whoever wants it.
If the carrier is NOT Telus/Koodo/PM. She needs to open an new account with them once the number is available.
Good luck.

hi @jerickc_
she she lost her service as in account closed, there is not a big chance she can get the number back if the account was closed long
but you have to check with PM support agent directly. Tell the agent she had the number before and hope they can assist
you can submit ticket by direct message:

did you keep paying while she went abroad? If you didn't pay and suspended for over 90 days, the account would have been closed and number is gone
call 1855-4PUBLIC , enter her phone number. If it can find the number , that is good, account is still here
