My husbands phone normally renews on it own. For some reason this month it didn’t.
I don’t know the 4 digit pin to make a payment on the phone. Or how to login online

There is a glitch on AutoPay (Subscribe) for some members.
He can purchase voucher and dial 611 then enter the voucher number and pin to restore service. If he is having issues login while waiting for a CS_Agent to help access his account.
Vouchers can be purchased from:
7-11, Canadian Tire gas stations, London Drugs, Canadian Superstore, Shell, Shoppers Drugmart, Safeway, Staples

You said this is your husband's phone. Why doesn't he do it himself or ask him to give you the pin to do it for him?
