Help my phone was stolen and passwords changed!

  • Hey I need help getting my account back, my email linked to it has been compromised so there’s no way to reset it. What can I do? Please help me

@Kreeks, if you are not able to get into your email account to change the password on that I would strongly recommend that you create another email account (if you do not have multiple email accounts already) and then go into your public mobile account from a web browser, then go to the "Profile" section and report your phone as stolen, there is a spot there where you click on a button that's labeled as "Report Lost / Stolen Phone". You can then go into the "Manage EverSafe ID" and change the email to the new one you created (or to an alternate one in case you already had more than one email address). You're obviously going to need to get another phone and a Public Mobile SIM card or you can setup an eSIM if the new phone is eSIM compatible which you can get through the PM app after it's been installed on your new phone. For physical SIM card I would just pick one up instantly at a TELUS/Koodo and Mobile Klinik store.

Sorry to hear but it sounds like you have been SIM swapped.

Change the passwords on all your financial accounts before the scammer gets most your money. Go into your bank and explain your situation and see if they can help.

If they got hold of your account it will be difficult to stop it...sorry.
