Hi,
I currently have a Public Mobile account but want to port my Bell mobile number into Public Mobile. However, I don’t want to keep my current Public Mobile number or have two accounts. Can you please advise the best way to do this and if you can assist with the process?
Thanks!

No, you don’t need to contact Bell to cancel your account with them. It will cancel automatically once you port out from them but to double check. Your Bell SIM should stop working/account cancelled once porting is completed.

After port to public mobile do I need to call Bell mobile to cancel service? Or cancelation will be handle by Public Mobile?

Remember that your Bell account must be active to port over to PM and wait for the text from Bell confirming you are porting over to PM with YES with the Bell SIM in your phone.

This is a standard phone number transfer/number porting from another carrier and is done by logging into your Public Mobile self serve account. Please use the Public Mobile smartphone app and go into the Account tab and then use the Transfer Phone Number option.
