If this is the case, I should say I was lucky? It has been the same number for a few months, it suddenly changed in June, I thought there is a glitch. I cannot reach any one working for Public Mobile anyway. Thanks a lot for your help!

@mmwhatsup Consider yourself lucky if that's the case. There must have been a glitch in the system and you were not charged the tax. It appears that it has been fixed now.
You did you not include a screenshot of the previous cc statement showing the $13 charge though.

Hi, thanks for your reply, however, the math doesn't fit my situation. All my credit card charges showed 13$ before early June bill, which means I have been charged with 13$ all along for several months.

@mmwhatsup Think of the Public Mobile's Payment history similar to visiting a retail store. Say you want to purchase a pair of jeans. The price tag for the jeans shows $13 (Public Mobile plan) when you go to pay at the cash (credit card statement) you get charged $13 * 1.12 = $14.56. Do you ask the cashier to give you back the $1.56? The price of the jeans was $13.

@mmwhatsup those charges are taxes... $13+ province tax
you have always been getting charged tax, it doesn't show on the pm website, but it will show on your bank statement

When you signed up did you sign up with some type of promotion? Some promotions like the lunar promotion had 8 months where you saved $10.00 a month. Can you take a screenshot of your transaction history, take out any personal info and we can give you an exact answer as to why your cost has changed.
I'll wait to hear back. Glad you have reached out to the community. I would love to see you contribute in your own way here in the community. If you do contribute you can save some more money on your bill possibly.

@mmwhatsup Go into selfserve and select the payment history link. Select the range to be 6 months. You should be able to determine fairly quickly why your payment went up. Maybe your referrals went down.
Another reason could be that you changed your number from another province that has a higher tax rate etc.

@mmwhatsup, could this be from maybe a reduced amount of referral credits? PM recently cleaned up "phantom" referrals where people were getting credits for them but there was no actual phone number attached to them. Are you able to post a screenshot of your payment history with all private information removed?
