During a call I get annoying sounds like click or hang up

So was on a call and I hear interference. Like clicking and a hangup. I then find that I had an voicemail. 

So when you are on a call....does this happen to you too??

Part of the problem I was clueless it was there. And have no use for it, so will disable. 

It is strange, almost like the 2nd caller nearly interrupted your current call.

Exactly, I thought who I was talking to, hung up on me.

I found the codes to enable and disable Call Waiting on the ZTE box.  Will set it and test it soon. 😀

i had no idea of this wonderful feature.  But won’t use. 🥴

Thanks. I had no idea. I turned call waiting and call forward off on my and my wife’s iPhones. 

I DO use call forward on our land line but prefer to turn off and on by manually keying the codes.  

My my wife and I prefer to not have call waiting as we consider it rude to put some one on hold.

ah, okay @CountyDownIeUk .

As for #1 above, my phone as these settings, so that is what my thought went to.

I do not have any call forwarding set up currently on my device.

Now, if I am on a call, and another call comes in, I can choose to reject/decline it and it will go to voicemail.

1.  I have no idea that I could have the option to answer another call while on a call or the option to  direct it to voicemail. 

2. I purposely did not mention that our home land line is actually a PM $15 plan with the SIM in a ZTE box. Reason for not mentioning was 2 fold. 

A. I did not want any “Timerly” like  pros telling me what my issue is. 

AND 

B. Curious to only know what happens when using a cell phone. Then I would take it from there. I guess we don’t use our cell phones enough to be on a call while a second call occurs. 😀
