Double Points, applicable to those in legacy points program?

Hello with the new Double Points added to most subscriptions in the shop (this morning) can I expect double the reward dollars in the legacy rewards program if I change to a new 5G Plan with Double the Points?

The terms and conditions for the double points include the "#", which is as follows:

#Offer valid from October 10, 2023 to October 16, 2023. Offer available to new customers who activate with Public Mobile. Offer provides 10% points-back for 12 months on eligible purchases on your plan or add-ons. Offer subject to change, and may be removed at any time. 10% points-back applies only to customer spend on plan renewals and add-ons, and is not applicable to any other method of earning points (such as welcome present points, give back points, refer-a-friend, anniversary, etc.). Offer is applied as a 5% points-back bonus on top of the current in-market points-back offer of 5%. After the 12-month period, the 10% offer will be removed, and customer will revert to the in-market points-back offer, which is currently 5%.

Haven't looked too deeply into this, but does "double the points" apply to all aspects of earning points or just the plan value?

If it's all point earnings, including loyalty and refer a friend, it's very enticing for new customers.

ALL these promos are for NEW customer only. You are existing customer and you will not get double anything if you change your plan.

Do not switch from legacy to points rewards.   Loyalty and autopay rewards with the legacy systems offer significant savings over the points system.
