I just signed up with Public Mobile, but I wanted to disable the subscription feature and just top up my phone manually. When I go into settings and try to disable the subscription, it makes it sound like I’m getting rid of my whole plan. They say that without payment, my account will be suspended and cancelled after 90 days of no service.

one or two days late means you have no service for those days. PM is prepaid and you have to pay first
and don't let plan suspended for 90 days or account will be closed permanently

@Phil_Adelphus So it will just let me top up manually? Even if I accidentally miss my anniversary date, I can still top up a day or two late?

Be aware that Public Mobile plans are 30 days, not monthly, so make sure your manual payments follow that schedule.

@bobca420 It would be clearer if the "a few questions" included the option to say you're going to pay manually. I guess that would come under "other"! Unsubscribing doesn't get rid of the whole plan but it's easy to interpret it that way.

hi @bobca420
unsubscribe won't cancel your plan, it just turn off autopay and the plan won't renew after the end of the current cycle
from the first day of suspension, you have 90 days to come back and renew or you will lose your phone number and account closed
