Just asking in case of a rare occurrence of an outage and I would need to connect up to a rogers tower.
This is also what I see in my phone settings when I disable Automatic:
I know that the PLMN code network is Xplore as there is towers nearby:
I am just wondering about EXT? Does it enable within Highway 14 in BC where there are only Rogers towers? I know also what Bell & Freedom are.

Recently switched to Public. Can confirm EXT was working automatically on highway 14 West of Sooke. Was previously with Koodo and it was also working with them but would display Rogers.

@softech Yes, that's the one. I had forgotten that that OP had posted back that although seemingly connected it didn't actually work. In this area (Ontario) I have experienced EXT when I was on Rogers and near the back of a large Walmart although often data would not work. Since I switched to PM I no longer have that problem in the same store and the phone doesn't show EXT or R so I assume the Telus/Bell signal must be stronger enough in this particular location so I can't test it.

Thanks @Phil_Adelphus for the info!
And yes, Highway 14 east of Victoria only has Rogers Towers.

this is one??
It was South Gulf, BC
But the OP there said the service cannot be used:
They cannot call or text, even though a good signal with Rogers is shown. During the sending of the text, the Rogers signal indicators will disappear and no service is shown

@fixin1 A while back someone posted a question on here about seeing Rogers with a roaming R showing up on their phone in a certain area, I think it was in BC, which implied to me that EXT was likely working even with PM prepaid. But as @softech said, Koodo (and also Fido) FAQs say that EXT only works for postpaid customers.

@softech - I was getting mixed thoughts about this.
Out on Reddit, the PM group said that they connected to Rogers on EXT in BC out in the west, but should I bother asking CS_Agent? PM doesn't specifically show the information.
EDIT: Here is the link (I mainly commented so please look at the OP article: https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicMobile/comments/1c1jeuv/pm_on_rogers_network/

I don't know 100%, but according to Koodo, the extended network coverage is only for its Postpaid customer and not Prepaid. Since Koodo Prepaid and PM is in the same system, I don't think we can use the extended coverage
