Just referred my dad to PM by transferring his number from Koodo.
It appears he is on autopay as his Payments tab shows "You are currently subscribed! Subscription will renew on XXX date".
Will he get $2 off per month under this new rewards program?
Nothing is showing in the Rewards tab, not even the $10 he was supposed to get bt being referred by me.
I joined PM in 2018 so don't know much about the points program, other than the fact the old program had higher monetary value to customers.

For those on the new Rewards Point program, like your dad who just joined, there is NO more $2 off. They will get 5% back in point and redeem for bill credit after they have 15 points
For you , who still on the old plan, keep it, don't migrate to Public Points, you have a better rewards system

@Mechecor No unfortunately that’s just for people in the old rewards, new accounts earn points and no auto pay reward
