I just joined Public Mobile today and also shared a referral code for someone else who wished to join. I did not, however, register for "My Rewards". Does this mean that I will not get the reward points for referring a new user?
Likewise, will other points (e.g. welcome present, anniversary, etc.) not accumulate until I register a rewards account?

@JoyLuck, thanks! I just tried it and the Rewards page explains that it can "take up to 4 days before you can access your points and start redeeming." I guess I should have just tried using my login information to see what happens first. 😅
@dabr, that explains it. I just signed in and I see that my points haven't been added yet. I'll check in again after a few days to see if the points appear. Thank you!

@Bookworm88 - You are automatically enrolled in the Public Points program if you just activate today.
No further joining/registering or signing up to anything need to accumulate points.
The welcome points may take a day or two to show in your My Rewards account here:https://telusidentity.telus.com/as/authorization.oauth2?response_type=code&scope=openid&client_id=20...
which is the same login as your Self Serve.
The refer-a-friend will be listed under the Refer-a-friend section, once your friend activates.
If you activated in store than you can register for a Self Serve/My account here: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/self-registration/
Otherwise, just the same login credentials for both Self Serve and My Rewards.

@Bookworm88 If you signed up recently then you will be automatically enrolled in the new points system as well as anyone you refer. Any referral points can take upto 72 hours to appear in the Rewards page for new sign ups.
You can view the rewards by clicking on Access my Rewards on your overview page and logging in with the same username/password as your self serve account. You should be able to see the last four digits of phone number of the person you referred on that page as well.

Yes they are 2 separate accounts, but the login information is the same as your self service.

@BKNS27, on my self serve account, I can see My Rewards in a drop down menu on the upper-right corner of the screen. When I click on it, the link takes me to a screen where I have to register for the rewards program. Are the rewards and self serve account two separate things?

Yes your account is the same as your Self Serve account. Once you are registered on the Self Serve account then My Reward is also activated.
Your referral code is on the top right corner of the page or on My Reward.

I have the Self Serve account up and running, but I haven't completed registration for My Rewards yet.

Login to account to see if it is Activate.
My Rewards login ID and password is the same as your login account. If it is then it will be OK for your friend to use your referral code for all the rewards.
