Do I need a new SIM when upgrading from 3G to 4G plan?

Hi everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e, which supports 4G LTE. I’m currently on a 3G speed plan, but I’m planning to upgrade to a 4G speed plan.

Do I need to replace my SIM card when I switch plans?
My SIM card was purchased in October 2022.

Hello.

As mentioned, all you need to do is swap the sim card from your old phone to new phone. Speaking of new phone, here is the volte checker to make sure your new phone will work on the network. Just enter your imei number

You can just upgrade your plan, no need to change SIM.

No, your current sim will work for any plan 

Just upgrade the plan as you like, remember to use Change on Renewal option to schedule the plan change on next renewal
